I belive that the Type 98 'Ke-Ni' was the first japanese tank with coaxial MGs.

Primary Armament: 1 x 37 mm Type 100 Gun

asking the same question agin :)

Saburo Sakai flow over 200 missions and are credited 64 kills... but according to him, is that neither the total amount of missions nor kills is what he is most proud of - can you (the reader) tell me what he was most proud of?

In that case, he would be most proud of the fact that he never lost a wingman.

Thanks!

Hiroshima today has the most extensive tram (streetcar) network in Japan and no subways as most other Japanese cities do. Why?

well, after some searching.. it appears to that after the war Hiroshima started to recive donations of streetcars for all over japan - as other Japanese cities were anxious to get ride of em, apparently the destruction of the streetcar infrastruckture was too damaged..

Hiroshima rebuilt its streetcar system along with the rest of the city, so Hiroshima is the only city in Japan with a very extensive streetcar system, since it has been working, there hasn't been build any subways. I belive that the fact the city is only slight above sealevel and is rather flat cept for the hills northwest and northeast raising to some 700 feet. Is one importen reason aswell why the city do not have subways.

Three days after the bombing of Hiroshima, the tram system (except to areas right around the hypocenter) was up and running again thanks to the donated streetcars and to the dedication of the tram workers, many of whom were injured by the blast and would soon die. The streetcars helped to ferry the injured to hospitals in the suburbs and ferry supplies in. The people of Hiroshima never forgot this and the streetcars became a symbol of Hiroshima's recovery. Other cities had donated their streetcars because Hiroshima's need was greater than their own, and all eventually rebuilt their networks only to scrap them during the land crunches of the 60's and 70's. Hiroshima, however, has never lost its love for the streetcars and has no plan to replace them despite a land crunch of their own. The same is true of Nagasaki, which had a similiar experience and now has the second most extensive streetcar network in Japan.
