Italian running the blockade

How effective was the Allied blockade set-up in preventing Italian ships from breaching the blockade for Germany in the September 1939- May 1940?

In particular, how effective were Italian ships in maintaining material exchanges with Japan?

Here's a starting point for you:
http://books.stonebooks.com/record/1004329/

Will give you names and basic details of Italian blockade runners to the Far East

Also recommend seeing if you can borrow a copy of Martin Brice's Axis Blockade Runners of World War II
https://www.amazon.ca/Axis-Blockade-Run ... 0713426861

for more details/
