The Nazi Four Year Plan

which had been broken by the German-Polish non-aggression pact of January 1934.

Which the Germans broke in 1939 when they invaded Poland - this encirclement did not prevent them signing a pact with Russia which in effect gave them a free hand to wage war , thefate of Poland speaks volumes for the German and russian goverments of the day.

Thought I'd contribute a photo of the Reich Central Office for the Implementation of the Four Year Plan beside Hess's office at 9 Meiserstrasse in Munich as I was walking past the other day.
