Hi All

These tobruks looks like model , build between
the Ringstand 58 and the Koch-bunker .
Looks a little bit like the "Kleinstanden"
Build in Italy and in Germany , does anyone

I've seen pictures of the same kind of tobrouk in Orland, Norway
Impressive memory!
I was sure I missed it, but when looking through my folders I found something similar.
Doesn`t look like the usual Rs58 style at the entrance to this one.

Hello All

This is from a building report of St Nazaire
there are 4 x 58c and one IC 116 , this tobruk
was also build in other places in St Nazaire .
I always thought that this was a local design ,
but now I found a other IC 116 on a map from
Moliets-Plage ( Marineflakschule II ) .
Strange is that the cbm are same as the 58c .
Who can help me with this question ??

Regards Jos

Hi Jos,
Based on my experience from Denmark, the Fest.Pi. Stab was not too accurate on their cbm reporting on Tobruks. I have found 60 cm 58 c, where the volume reported was that of 40 cm 58 c. And 12 cbm looks a little on the low side for a nominal 58c, I think the volume should be 13.5 cbm.

Hello All

This mounting from a French Breguet 19 aircraft was used in a Ringstand or other wooden structures ,
most of the photo's that I have seen of this mounting the guns were 8 mm M.G. 257 (f) and M.G. 15 .
Also it looks that most of the pictures are taken in the A.O.K. 1 , who has seen places with this mounting
in a other A.O.K. ???

Photo's = Tobruk Typologie from Alain Chazette

Hello

I think it is a larger bunker with a tobruk, and what you see is the periscope, not the antenna?

Any one?
