Hello all :D

A little while ago I wrote these articles for another Axis forum, since I hold a very high respect for the user's on this forum for your huge knowledge on Axis histroy, I wondered if any of you would care to comment about these articles and whether you have any feedback or corrections I should know about

Thank you all and I hope you all find it an enjoyable read, PS be gentle with me as these are the first articles I have ever written :P

Hello

I saw a picture of the Boelcke tower , but this is for me
the first time that I saw a picture of the v. Richthofen tower .
The tower model "Bauart Dietel" is still standing in Darmstadt .

Hello

Here a type of Luftzschutz bunkers that were made in different forms , but the main form is the same .
The drawing is the one for 150 persons only one level with a smal hospital inside , but the 250 , 350 and
500 were multi level bunkers. A good example is in Marseille at Fort St. Jean a 350 persons model .

Hi Jos

Thanks for the drawing. Do you, by any chance, have original drawings of the Truppenmanschaftsbunkers (T750, T1100, T1500) build several places in Germany??
Thanks in advance.

Hello,

according to TB 750,1000 and 1500 models the best site is made by Holger Raddatz from Wilhelmshaven.
http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Truppenmannschaftsbunker
http://www.truppenmannschaftsbunker.de
TB750 were built for example in: Gotenhafen,Danzig and Hela.

Jos this photo: Luftschutz bunker 150.jpg - those entrances look very similar to TB750 serie! :)

It seems that it is smaller brother of 750,100,1500. My guess it that it was navy design: such bunker appears in shipyards and Kriegsmarine bases.

@ndrew,
here is a "out of the car window with a cellphone" :-) photo I took at the Gryfia shipyard just outside Szczecin back in 2007... I guess this is also a German LS-bunker?

Hello Erik,

Interesting example! thanks. Looks like LS :) There are many more in Sszczecin even bigger (will visit sczecin in Spring) and higher. Quite similar to Luftschutz bunker 150 but diffrent entrances.

Phto made by cell phone :) :) :) it seems that James Bond items are good for bunker hunting!

Hi Jos,

yes, these are Luftschutzbunker. The second picture is the 9.8.1949 blown up Luftschutzturm Lenauweg in Wilhelmshaven. I think, the first foto is also Wilhelmshaven.

Hi,
and now I have found the first one: It is Luftschutzturm Genossenschaftstraße, also in Wilhelmshaven.
