Caen coastal guns-air photo
Hello,
I am new to this forum, perhaps this might be interesting. An arial photo showing the Caen coastal guns, may 1944. Source is an USAF learn book on photo interpretation. Can anyone tell me more about the subject of these bombings?
Kind regards,
Maurice

Sebastien,
Thanks for your answer!
Indeed, when I look up Rivabella in the Heimdal book on the Atlantikwall, page 269, the streetpattern looks very much the same! Caen, distance of 15 km, seems also logical. The only things that differs: on the map of the Stützpunktgruppe, you see an edgy point of land, which is not shown on the picture.
A larger picture is attached.
