Hello,

The photographs:
-1: 320 mm modèle 70-84 (or modèle 70-30).
-2: 320 mm modèle 70-93 (or modèle 70-30).
-3: 340 mm modèle 1912 sur affût à glissement Schneider.

Note: the 320 mm modèles 70-84 or 70-93 take uniformly the appellation "modèle 70-30" when their chambers are enlarged.
Yours sincerely,
Guy François.

Hello,

For the two photographs of the 520 mm and the big guns posted on 26 january:
I think the two photographs were taken near Le Creusot because:
-the 520 mm was refurbished in Le Creusot works in 1940.
-the big guns are some of old navy guns foreseen to be transformed in new ALVF guns (1939 big ALVF Programme), they are 340 mm modèle 1881 and 1884 to be transformed in 370 mm howitzers and mounted on sliding mounts and many others.I think the first gun in the photograph is a truncated navy gun of 1906 or 1910 model, the other guns are older.

For the photograph of this day, yes, it is a 274 mm modèle 1893-96 or a 285 mm modèle 1917 (former 274 mm modèle 1893-96 bored to 285 mm).
Yours sincerely,
Guy François.

Hi all,

A 400mm St. Chamond Mle 1915-16 rail howitzer. It seems in German service with his ammo railcar.

Hello,

I think that the guns are 320 mm modèle 70-30 because the great buildings are those of the "Centre d'Organisation de l'ALVF" (C.O.A.L.V.F) in Neuvy-Pailloux (Indre).
The great buildings of Neuvy-Pailloux were built in 1918 as a giant factory for the building of Tanks Mark VIII International.
The Geat War finished before any tank was build in this works.
In 1920, the buildings were transformed to stock several hundreds of ALVF guns.
ALVF guns were refurbished in Neuvy-Pailloux works and new ALVF batteries take their guns in this aera.
Neuvy-Pailloux is near Issoudun and Chateauroux on the great railway line Paris-Toulouse.
Yours sincerely,
Guy François.
