My two cents are the 105 mm Danish Schneider gun ?????
Is the japanese 10cm Type 92 gun another possibility ?? :?

On the hand, I am not sure about this another gun: 3.7cm Pak or 4.2cm Pak 41 ??? :?

Interesting: the muzzle is indeed typical of the a 4,5 cm Pak184(f). But the wheels seem to be non-standard for this type of gun.

Could it be a 24 cm SKL/40 Theodor Karl auf Eisenbahn und Bettungsgerüst in WW1?

hello

you can find this photo in "Die Marinegeschütze des Westwalls am Oberrhein"
on page 223 -
it's a 30,5cm S.K. L/50 from schwere Stellungs-Batterie 230
the "south"-located gun at the Hübschberg

PS: whats the correct designation?
xy cm S.K. L/xy or
xy cm Kanone S.K. L/xy
??

8O It keeps amazing me how smart People were so long ago.. making such large and precise equipment. For instance optical devices, the V rockets and those very large guns.
We still use the same machines in the metal sector, only they have become more sophisticated in the years.
Back than craftmanship was importand!

Hello,

It is a reserve tube of 400 mm modèle 1916.
The obusier de 400 mm modèle 1916 were built new in 1918 with parts of 340 mm modèle 1912 (4 complete guns and 3 reserve tubes).
The older 400 mm modèle 1915 were built in 1916 with rebored tube and parts of 340 mm modèle 1887 guns (8 complete guns and one reserve tube).
Yours sincerely,
Guy François.

Hello,

It is a common practice to store reserve guns in the open for the greater guns.
Small guns were stored in building structures.
Twenty years ago, I have seen great french marine guns in "Polygone de Gâvres", stored at 500 meters to the border of the sea!
The inner tubes were in perfect condition and the exterior surface were a little rusty. When one gun was used for trials, it was refurbished and in a few hours, it was in perfect condition Internally and externally!
These guns of "Polygone de Gâvres" were to-day given to some french Museums and others guns were destroyed! It was a formidable collection of french but also german navy guns!
Yours sincerely,
Guy François.
