The gun looks familiar to me. Where is this?

is M.K.B Gris Nez (Pas de Calais) with 3 x 17 cm SKL/40 and Rangfinder of M.K.B Grosser Kürfurst in back

Yeah that's it. I recognized the 17 cm SKL/40. Didn't know the Leitstand of Grosser Kurfurst was so close.

Hi Arthur,
I think one of the emplacements of the 17cm SKL/40 can bee seen, the path on the cliffs goes over it, but i am not sure, it also could be an emplacement of the older French batteries.

Hello All

The armeroud house on the rangefinder is called Zeiss-Haube ,
I think the other version on this internetsite is the Seydlitz-Haube as
called in the report Ragelbauten der Kriegsmarine .

Here what looks like a other Seydlitz-Haube , this one was used
in Fjell according to the report German Seacoast Defences ???

Looks that the Drehhaube have different rangefinders, differents lenghts and more optical openings ??

Thanks for the photo !
It is Seylitz - Haube from Gneisenau mounted in the
front of the 40,6 cm SKC/34 battery MKB 5/511 Trondenes ,
Harstad , Norway .
The photo first pulished in 26 Oct 1943 in a Norwegian
newspaper called " Aftenposten " .
