Hello
Not related, but a 9,4 cm Vickers
.
I was right about one thing..it wasnt related.. :D
As Jos told me it isnt a Vickers, but a 15 cm Tbts KL/45 or UbtsKL/45.

Its not a 1,5 m rangefinder, its bigger. Im sure there are someone here that know what kind it is, but im pretty sure they are too stuffed right now to answer :)
Anyway, is this a Vickers ? If the info is correct its from Zeebrugge. Picture from one of the auctions sites.

Uto C/16 from the M.K.B. Schutte at the harbourpier at Zeebrugge .

Le Havre:
Almost but not quite if we look at these pictures from the remains of MKB Südmole.

http://atlantikwall.superforum.fr/haute ... -t1706.htm

Cherbourg: it doesn't seem to fit either the Fort (Mole) Central:

See picture from ECPAD in :

http://www.cheminsdememoire.gouv.fr/pag ... dLieu=1487

And here are pictures of Vickers at MKB Zentralmole. The emplacements look different than on ebay’s pictures:

Hi Alkali and Jack

The photo is been taken in 1940 at Cap de la Heve ,
we think that this is one of the French 9.4 cm that were
used in 1939/1940 please see the post of David Lehmann .

Here is a picture from ebay.com showing what looks like the same gun as in Alkali's picture if we compare the telephone poles and the building I have circled.

The last picture is from ebay.de and shows one of the 94 mm Vickers guns in Boulogne on May 25, 1940, the last day of the battle for Boulogne.
