Having had a second look at Jos' list it seems more Germans with cameras were posted to the units that had the static gun as there are more photos of these :D

M.K.B. du phare de la Hève le Havre 4 x 9,4 cm Flak M.39 (e) Static
Pièces réparties ensuite aux deux batteries suivantes
M.K.B. Nordmole le Havre 2 x 9,4 cm Flak M.39 (e) Static

M.K.B. Flugplatz au 1/5/1944 = 4 x 9,4 cm Flak M.39 (e) Static

Based on the construction of the ammunition magazines, I think that these pictures have been taken at the AA battery at Cap de la Hève in Le Havre, France.

According to Chris Chant's book "Artillery of World War II", (Zenith Imprint, 2001), the Wehrmacht produced in 1943 100,000 rounds of ammunition for the M39(e). I presume that the ammunition that had been captured in 1940 had all been used by this time?

In the book "Guns of the Atlantic Wall 1942-1945" (Schiffer Military History), it is written the following: "As of 1942 the 94 mm Vickers saw service only against sea targets because of the growing shortage of ammunition".

Good catch, Jos !

Hard to tell on this picture if the Germans actually re-used in Greece the 3.7 in. guns captured in the same theater or if they are just bringing them to a "Sammelstelle". :?
