21 cm M.16
a horse-drawn howitzer (5 loads)
L/14 (~2940mm)
21 cm M.18
new projectile + more powerful charge
platform fired (static)
L/16 (~3360mm)
21 cm M.18/19
mobile M.18 (lorry towed)
So....
Pic02 is a surviving M.16 or M.18 in Norway (source: http://www.fsgfort.com)
Pic04 is from eBay.
What I'm trying to understand is what a M.18/19 is...

Now this is what P Chamberlain & T Gander give for the M.18/19 (pic05 & pic06)
- very long barrel (no way a L/16), typical Skoda muzzle ring with bolts (1).
- single recoil/recupator cylinder over barrel (2)
- different cradle:
- - - symmetrical front & rear 'extensions'
- - - double (geared?) winches (?) in front (3)
- - - vertical reinforcing 'T' bar next to trunnions (4)
Pic07 is what I V Hogg give for the 24cm Haubitze 39. It looks like Chamberlain & Gander's Pic06, except from the geared winches...

part 3 (Like the Godfather)
Of course it couldn't be one of the K 52 series gun (K39, K 39/40 or K 39/41) as those had a somehow different cradle with inclined reinforcing 'T' bar next to trunnions (pic08 & pic09)
pic10 is a (ex-Swedish?) K 52 from Munster Museum (source: http://www.bredow-web.de)
