V.F. Schartenstand

#1

Post by jopaerya » 27 Feb 2008, 11:33

Hello All

I have a little problem , the first V.F. schartenstand was designed by the Festungspionier-
Kommandeur XVIII that was in the 15 Armee sector , there are a lot these bunkers build in
this sector . The problem is I found a other drawing from the O.T. in the 7 Armee sector
what looks like the same bunker with the same "Kampfraum" and I have found some pictures
of a simelar type of bunker in the "Sudwall " at H.K.B. Gruissan . See the last TH photo's
http://sudwall.superforum.fr/languedoc- ... n-t184.htm
Does anyone seen this bunker outside the bounderies of the 15 Armee ????

Regards Jos

Hello Etienne

The V.F. PaK bunkers in K.V.A. AV and CR have a combat room that the same as the 625
the first drawings on this Topic have a combat room that is the same as the early 625 .
So the function is the same but only the walls and the general lay-out are different .

Drawing = Our mutual friend Dirk Peeters

Hello All

I made a mistake it's not the 680 but the 625 that is the same as the V.F. bunker in
Bretagne please see the room for the empty shells and the enlarged ammunition room .

Hello Jos,
Yes you are right for Bretagne but I think many have 680vf, dirk and I are in agreement because it is not a chamber staff and kampfraum is similar to the 680 type.dirk a measure both of crozon and I 've measure both of AV07 and AV08.

Hello Dirk

Found your list , would be nice to know if every Festungs pionier unit had it's one drawingslist
or that there was only one central list with all the drawingnumbers ??
