Thanks for the nice drawing!
I can only remember the two Fe.Nischen in the 616 at Prelaat.
But maybe I didn't pay attention at the other bunkers.

Yeah Den Helder has two niches. Never paid attention!

Maybe there are so much 616s because of the vast
civilian phone network already present in Holland during the war?

Hi Ruud

From what I saw at Pas de Calais the communicationsbunkers are bigger , but not so maybe build
as in Holland , for example the communcationbunkers at Pas de Calais are in De Panne ( Belgium)
Duinkerken , Calais en Boulogne . The Kabelschaltstelle's are a story apart .

Nice to that the 616 at Walcheren has no stairs in the entrance and place for cabelrolls ( high groundwater)

Nice to see the same way the schwere gittertur was placed in the to high entrance..
In the 616 at Valkenburg the was a regular gittertur installed with the same problem.

The brv drawing can give confirmation if it is really Castricum? The tobruk has an odd shape

Was there a special gittertur designed for higher entrances?
