It is an official US press picture (ACME) and is dated February 1944. The gun has been captured by the Red Army.

A 220 mm howitzer of the Spanish Blue Division near Leningrad. What is the origin: transfer by the Germans after the armistice with France in June 40 or acquisition from France before the civil war?

These howitzers were transfered by the Germans to the Spanish Blue Division in 1941
