This is the trailer for the barrel of the French 240 mm Mle 1884.

Here is a picture of a barrel on its trailer posted by Dimi in 2009. As you can see the wheels are actually quite wide. :wink:

Curiously, there are many more photos of the 15cm K16 gun, which the Germans held only a few specimens, that of his replacement, 15cm K18 gun. :?
