Well, here an image from EBay. I think 30.5cm Type 7 howitzer although I am not sure if short barrel L/16 or long barrel L/23 model.
No data about the context where this image was taken :(

From the pecular band forward of the breechblock and the projection on the breechblock it is a Type 92.

Several details of the upper lafette parts and the handling devices indicates that ist indeed a Type 88.

The partly visible muzzle ring of the demolished barrel shows that we can see the whole barrel. So this is a L/16,4 Version. The barrel of the L/23,7 version is more than 2 m longer.

L/23 version

Two L/23 were mounted in fortified positions at Kotou Fortress, Manchuria. During the soviet attack in August 1945 they shelled bridges and railways to slow down enemy supply until they were destroyed.

At least 4 L/16 were used during the 1944/45 battle for Luzon, Philippines.

Several others were mounted in coastal fortifications around Japan.

Hi.

Hard to say without a view on lafette and breech. Following the size of the barrel compared to the GI I´d guess Type Taisho 3 8 cm DP Gun or a predecessor.

Hello,

Can anyone identify this Japanese gun? I suspect that it's a naval gun but I'm not sure.

Hello all,
As you can see from the part II of Photo interpreter's guide to Japanese military installations, it's a Type 10 (1931) 120-mm dual-purpose gun.
