Waffen Prüf Fest

Hello

Most of the drawings of German fortifications I saw are maded or checked by the Waffen Prüf Fest and have there own numbers , but behind the name Fest there are also several other Roman numbers like I II IV , does anyone know what these Roman numbers means ??

Waffen Prüf Fest IV 580

The "normal" Waffen Pruf hade also the subdivision please see Waffen Pruf 2

Hello

Also found Waffen Prüf Fest III , I think that if you see the picture's from
Hillersleben parts of the Waffen Prüf Fest must have stationed there .

I want to know if the Waffen Prüf Fest I , II , III , IV has any meaning just like the list you placed
here with the 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 etc etc . I have put the numbers that I have in a list but there is no logic in it .

I think it maybe is:

I - Betonbauten in der ständigen Landesbefestigung
II - Panzer der Landesbefestigung
III - Maschinelle Anlagen und Einrichtungen in Befestigungswerken
IV - Sperren, Tarnung und Feldbefestigung
V - technische Wehrgeologie

From the süchbuch of RH-8. In some documents I also saw Wa.Prüf.Fest a/b/c. Maybe it is the Stab-abteilung?
