This turret was manufactured for H-battleship, isn't it?
We tried to find numbers on breeches, but were not succeed. Guns are too rusty. Where gun numbers should be?
This photo is from web:

It's from Nurmesetti too. Could anyone define, what's the gun type? Is it 15 cm SK L/40?

Hello again

For me a 100% a 15 cm S.K.L/40 ( former guns of M.K.B. Petsamo Alt ?? )

With out the gunnumbers it's hard to say , I have conflicting original information
from what I can see from your picture's it's a high turret ( like Zanddijk Holland )
looks also on your picture's that there are 2 ammo rooms on both side of the gun turret ??

If my memory doesn't fail me, you are right...

Could you confirm, that pictured open battery is MKB 'Petsamo-Alt'? Does pits are in german-style? I'm asking this question because
1. Mounting flanges in the pits fits for soviet 130 mm B-13 guns (24 holes on 1200 mm dia)
2. The story goes that there was soviet 130 mm battery at Nurmensetti after WW2.
3. All shells on photos are 130 mm.
We didn't find another open midcaliber battery, so in my opinion, this is "Petsamo-Alt' and it was rebuilt by russians after the war...

at the drawing also 24 on 120cm and 16 on 160cm just like your picture's

Wow! 8O
Thank you very much!
You are right, it is exactly the same. So pits are for 15 cm SK L/40, no doubt. Now interesting to me, was it possible to mount B-13s on these flanges without any alterations...

What do you think, what gun it was:

?
The pit is Vf600E?

Hello again

The mount is a le. S.L. for a 5 cm Kw.K. , the name vf600 for the concrete
emplacement is selfmade postwar name and not a original German name .

Hello

I realy don't know but it's looks like a command post with the observation slide .
BTW the photo 3974 looks like a tobruk for a 5 cm Festungsgranatwerfer 210 (f)

Thanks, Jos!

If this one
http://www.deadpixels.ru/north/petsamof ... T3925.html
is command post, what could be this
http://www.deadpixels.ru/north/petsamof ... T3923.html
and this (in the centre)
http://www.deadpixels.ru/north/petsamof ... T3945.html
?
IMHO, they are too close to main command post to be remote observation posts..
