A 90/53 sabotaged by its crew somewhere in Italy:

Identified on this thread:

And not taken "near Oran" despite what was written on the back of the picture.

A battery of at least 4 of these 90 mm AA guns (a 4th barrel is visible on the right). Somewhere in Italy, I suppose.

I'll post some pics of the sole remaining 3RO/ Ansaldo 90mm tomorrow. It served with the Italian Centauro Division in North Africa until it's capture in 1943.

Yep, that's my truck. It was sent to Aberdeen in 1944. Here's a current pic of it.Those are the original tires.

Hi all,

Here, an image of an 90mm Cannone da 90/53 gun in transport position. I am not sure if this one is a prototype or a serial-production gun.
Was this two-axis carriage the standard-production one? :?

I think that the following trailer was the standard one:

Another older type of trailer:

Yes the Campale version is the one Manuferey posted. The others might be prototypes.

Thank you for your help, Emmanuel and Dili.

It is surprising that there are so few wartime pictures of this gun, manufactured in relatively large amounts... :( :?

Here, another two images (from EBay) of the static versión. I am not sure if Mod.39P or Mod.41P .. :? :?
Which were the differences between the two versions? :?

I think the mod.39 is the initial model "da posizione" (fixed) but there is also a mod.41P("P" da posizione) and this one in the Manuferey pic is the mod.41C ("C" campale) . It is possible the mod.39 were the inital batches. Note that this was derived from 90/50 naval gun and i was never able to have photo examples of the fixed 90/50 said to be in naval bases - i am even not certain if the Navy adopted the army gun for land use.
