It seems a railway train. Could be a captured French train?

Dili,

The 3 pictures you posted on Dec 17 above show one of the 152/40 “treni armati” of the Italian Navy. The picture with the AA gun above shows one of the two 20 mm Oerlikon guns mounted on type P railcars to provide AA protection to the “treni armati”.

Interesting. Where it would be in North Africa - or Greece? Seems the sea is rather below, so not an easy task to move it there.

If this is north Africa, and the terrain certainly supports this, this is most likely Battery SP 21 RM at Tobruk. It is listed with an armament of 2-120 MM binatti and 1-120 mm single. Source is LE DIFESE COSTIERE ITALIANE NELLE DUE GUERRE MONDIALI, CARLO ALFREDO CLERICI, 1996, PAGE 112.
