Hi Ses, thats strange..on your mark is the exact location if the mammut from moritz.
Edit; not exactly straight down the pin just above the path is moritz.

Would be strange if a marine radar was placed in LW stutzpunkt?

Hi Tim,
Yes I can see that from the map in the first post. But if the position is wrong, it would not be the first time we see errors in the official German reporting.

Found this plan from 1943 , beside the well-know places for the naval Mammut also Westkappele as possible place .

Something funny happend today..
i was running trough the dunes, and at stp XXXXVL i saw a piece of concrete sticking out of the ground wich i've see for many yearso..
then it was eureka, its a concrete foundation of about 5X4 meters, excactly where SES pinpointed the FuMo 5 8O
strange is that it's not a high dune, could the FuMo have stood on a tower or something like that?

onlything that bothers me is that the FuMo 5 was kriegsmarine, and the location we found is in the luftwaffe mammutcomplex...
anyone seen that before?

Hi Tim,
Yes indeed. In RINGELNATTER (LW) there were also a FuMO 5 of the KM. In LAMA the Wassermann M was located in the KM UGRUKO Stp. At the Skaw there was a Wassermann S in the Inf.Stp.

Hi,
In the V 143 and alot of other bunkers there are gutters for the cables and heating system in the floor. Most of the time they were covered with tiles.
Was there a standard size for these tiles? Or better sayd: the width and hight of the cutout for the tiles.
Something around 25x4 centimeters out of my head..
I've visited alot of bunkers with these gutters but never measured if they are the same size
Dirk, i put my money on you!

Hi,
I have found that these ditches were used for two purposes. For heavy duty cables and for pipes for the heating system in bunkers with an elaborate heating system.

Today it was " open bunker day" in Den Haag.

Amongt others, the 608 and 622 of the verteidigungsstab were opened, as well as the fluwa of Wn 67, the SK hospitalbunker in clingendael and the V143!

Yesterday we did alot of digging, and finally opend the bunker. For me it was 8 years ago sinds i seen it, and it looked even nicer than in my memories
Back then i overlooked the lower part of the massive 5 centimeter thick armoured door that is still there!

Visitors sometimes had to wait 1,5 hours to enter, and we have had about 1500 8O

As we speak the bunker is being measured by Alex Werner, so more info and pictures will soon arrive.

Dirk, as you said i measured about 4 different sizes of cable/ heating gutters..

Gr, Tim
