Just saw a photo of one of these guns apparently abandoned in Italy in 1944. Does anyone know if these guns were used by the Germans in Italy at all?

Best,

According to 'Panzerwrecks 13: Italy 2' "this is porbably one of the two specimens used by Germany and Italy after after 8 sept. 1943 for coastal defence around Civitavecchia. Another example was found in Perugia".

Hi Nezar

sure its the Sfl-variant?

at April 12th 1944 were 6 x 19,4 cm K. (E) 486 (f) at Armeegruppe von Zangen with note "2 Batterien zu je 3 Geschützen in Aufstellung"

I confirm it's the Sfl variant. See in this thread:
http://forum.axishistory.com/viewtopic. ... 0&t=193757

Cannon 194/32 ["su cingoli"] tracked 2 pieces =194mm G.P.F.
