Found this one at Museu Militar Conde de Linhares at Rio de Janeiro.
Think it's a 17cm K18? A long way from home! ;)

A long way from home! ;) That also count for you Tønnes

A very nice 17 cm K 18 looks real complete, only the fenders of the big wheels are missing .
Maybe a trophy form the http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brazilian_ ... nary_Force ??

HAHA Right you are Jos :)

And spot on. It's exactly what it is. A memory/trophy of the Brazilian contribution in Italy!
Very nice to stumble upon this! :)

Hello

i think we cant say it with 100% - its not a barrel of a 21 cm Mörser 18, but maybe barrel of 15 cm S.K. C/28 (in Mörserlafette) instead of 17 cm K. 18

we cant see the real visible small difference between the barrels of those 2 guns (we cant fixit with the length: 15 cm S.K.C/28 had L/55 and 17 cm K. 18 had L/50)

please see my photo of a barrel of 15 cm S.K. C/28 of s. Art. Abt. (mot.) 625 for cross check...

Thank you for your answers, na4222 and Uwe.

Well, the 15cm SK C28 gun is another possibility....but I think it is less probable, as this gun is very few common...
