Hello Lads,

Maybe its of great importance to add the dates of every document, so we not only can discuss this matter, but always see the evolution of those bunkertypes... Maybe the type II is older than the type 668/40 (or vice versa), We all know many (if not all) bunkertypes where under constant evolution, perhaps this is also why there are so many variants and other bunkernumbers?

Dirk, Tomorrow we are also in Germany, regio Hurtgenwald (Westwall), perhaps our roads will cross again as like in Wissant by accident years ago? Good hunting in Deutschland ;)

a good option Tom
as soon as i m at home i ll search the dates
but the one from Erwann is the newest i ll think
but have to search for the exact dates
for Alain
Read for once the german documents ....
it is not Kleinstunterstand II
but Kleinstunterstand or regelbau type II (2)
that s no opinion that s only a fact and these documents come from Bama
PS no crossing Tom , it s not for bunkers

Lads, is it so important who have said "X" or "Y" years ago? United we are stronger ;-)

It should be fine to find out which are the other FA bunkers with roman numbers? it's not shure if type "X" is the last one, perhaps there are more than ten (10), but only documents can proof this... Unfortunatly i don't have such massive archive as Dirk and Alain.

the views pictures of KU II or 668
and the KU II plane
this is not the same, because the roof slab is thin on the KU II of the plan and there's not the case
regards
AC

I think on the left of the photo is a 668 with is Ringstand (Bo 42)
