In december 1943 the main guns 10.5 cm K 29 (p) of the H.K.B. Petten (23) and Castricum (25) were
rearmed with 10.5 cm K.311 (f) and 10.5 cm K.35 (t) . Does anyone know what the reason was for this ??
Could the lack of ammunition be a reason. Document = Nara

hello Jos - it was the general reorganisation of artillery at ob. west -

creation of uniform protected equipment for unification of replenishment and education and also adaptation to local conditions and operational principles of the units -
adaptation to operational require for the bodenständige units

also: many Stellungs-Batterien (K) (K = Küste) didnt etatisiert yet and were personalized in small strength only
