668 "feldmässig"

Post by dirk Peeters » 06 Nov 2012, 08:08

we like to discuss with you all here friends but one topic at the time
and please stay on this subject
Let s do not make the same mistakes like on other forums by mixing things
So here is the plan found by Erwann Lanneo (Hakobordeaux)
I ll thank him for letting us see this document
img_1912.jpg
here the plan given by Jos
JF%20.jpg
JF%20.jpg (91.81 KiB) Viewed 1078 times
we think its an 668 constructed in the "St Felsmassig serie" described clearly in another post here on the forum
We found several of these strange things all around the " 7 armee " (from Morlaix to Brest and Crozon)
some are fitted with a tobruk (for the type see our article nr 4 in PDF in the topic (articles by the belfra team here)
some are constructed without tobruks like the real 668 , some has even a storage room for a 1700 l Wasserbehalter

Some has emergeny exits , some don t . even so like the 668/674/675 some has also no emergency exit at all

but plans speak more than words
7 KVA A2 Po 22.jpg
here we see almost exactly a same configuration the plan from erwann gives 2m77 on 4m70
this one at Po 22 gives 2m76 on 4m67
you can presume they are alike
they have no emergency exit but two entrances so maybe we have the ammunition version of the 668 in FM
but i think we can stay at the 668 fels name

here a normal version in the Brest area (this is the only one we found with twelve beds )

here the plan from brest area
....
00.jpg
00.jpg (90.38 KiB) Viewed 1070 times
(emergency exit , Tobruk , all the details of a genuine 668
2 m 78 on 4m 68 (look above for the other measurements)
and lets see now for a genuine 668
Well that gives ....
00.jpg
interior dimensions 4 m 65 on 2 m 75
so we see the connection with the "sleeping room" in these two versions

Another remark
these 40 cm thick serie has in the ceiling .. IPN iron steel just like the ordinary ST constructions
eve above doors we have always IPN steel . (like ST)
we don t see that on any 40 cm thick construction (That even links it with the ST series)
even VF types (1m thick don t have these details)
we can place photos and so one but i ve not much time
but maybe we write an PDF about it in the near future you can find on our forum for free (all with , genuine german plans , documents and plans made in the field by us
here the link

First of all, i would like to thank "bunkerboy" to have created this topic ! Now we know what is a 668 feldmassig in Bordeaux !
Secondly, the "drawing given by jos" is part of my own collection given to patrick Fleuridas a few years ago in order to find answers in typology ! it is a great honor to see it again ! this bunker was built in bordeaux at least three times ! next to 677 along the anti tank ditch

Finally, i do not know what to think about the secont entrance >> notausgang or not ?? i supposed it was an access to a tobrouk belonging to the 677 !

Hi Dirk

We are jumping from the socalled "668Vf" to the 677 in Bordeaux , maybe we can call this Topic bunkers in Bordeaux .
Do you have any list of Stp. and W.n. in Bordeaux , because I found some things on the 677 and other bunkers in
Bordeaux .

Hello Dirk

From what I found all bunker 677 and Vf were build in Stp. Bo 42 , but there are several W.n. in this Stp.
they were numbered in Roman numbers like IV and XVI etc etc . What what I can found on Google all
bunker were build south of the U-Bootpens .
