The one in ra 09 looks also like entgiftungsbunker...
There's a logic path trough all rooms.

Interesting topic!
DORA in Silkeborg actually has an extra antenna niche in the Offener Beobachter, but for which purpose I don't know! Can you help Kurt. I'm actually sitting here with your new book 200 miles NE of Rio so it has already gone around the world. HAHA :D :D

Hi Tønnes

That must be the fastest that a book has been "famous" all around the world :D

Now it just needs to sell enough to be a "bestseller" !!

Well regarding the bunkers in Silkeborg, I think more of them had extra antennas and also had more communications equipment than usual.

We are going to explore them all in near future to see what remains and traces of equipment there is left to see.

Some of the ones that are closed will be opened in near future, then we will see what comes out of that.

First one will be "Furie", I think it will be opened before "Bunker by Night" which is 25. may 2013.

Hi Dirk

that was the most wanted evidence, thanks a lot for sharing that discovery.

As we talked about there was a special reason for the ekstra communication equipment and the extra walls.

We will have to have a closer look at all our R622´s (will be a large task)

Well - now can we also conclude that it was special for HQ - or can these types also be found in HKB and MKB??

Regards
Kurt

Hi Kurt,
We have a couple of those at Grove and we always suspected, that the had a special function. It is my assessment that at Grove the were used as Btn. or Kp. level CP.

Hello all
its possible that it can also be for a Btn or Kp level CP
we found antennas in the Tobruks (better call them offner beobachter) in 625 and so on
In HKB when there are several 622 wo find in general in one these extra antenna so we can conclude that this equiped 622 is the CP ot the bttr
but the interior walls we don t see so often
I ll think these where only constructed at a certain level of PC ....
your opinions please
And for SES in radar sites are often 621 and 622 ... did you see something peculiar ? extra antennas etc ?

In festung hoek van holland there is also 621 with deviding wall, and the antennaniche in the beobacher.
Most likely used as commandpost with 3 tobruks overlooking
a entrance to the festung.

In stp. Gruppe Scheveningen the type 622 was probably used as standard commandpost for the landfront widerstandnester, most of them had tobruk with antennaniche 3 meter walls and 2 emergency exits.

Unfortunatly no german evidence

Other option is that these extra options can be explained because these bunkers were built by abteilung siedlung u. Bauten i.s.o. the O.T. (no problem with material shortage).

Let s forget a while the antenna in the Tpbruk
A lot of bunkers have them
The most significant part ar the interior wooden walls or brickwalls)
For more info about the tobruks see are articles (in english , you can find them on the site of Bart Ketels or the site of Arthur van Beveren

Hi Dirk,
The brv did not often measure this details.
Sometimes they use a drawing of another 622 witch resemble the main measurements.
We found antennaniches in 622 were they were not drawn by the brv..
But as said before and is logical, not all of the 622 were used as befehlsstand 8-)
