Gogartenstand

#1

Post by jopaerya » 04 Sep 2013, 16:54

Hello

A few year ago Jens and I have some discussion on this bunker , that this could be a candidate for the Gogartenstand .
In the meanwhile I have found some documentation on the Gogartenstand and added the information from Jens
from the I.B.A. Heft http://pics.zuport.dk/imageuploads/1263 ... 204-13.pdf

The name is very fascinating could be the name of the designer , just like the Jägerstand ( Guernseystand ) to the facts
the gun is the same 15.5 cm K. 416 (f) , not only bunkers were designed for this type of turret , there were also Ringstanden
planned .

Regards Jos

Thanks to Natter , a nice report about Nymindegab with the Gogartenstand . From what I can read
a test with air attacks from several types of airplanes on the bunkers and Gogartenstand .

Nice to see the named bunkers in this link http://pics.zuport.dk/imageuploads/1263 ... 204-13.pdf

60 degree Schartenstand = 611 - Bauwerk nr 4
90 degree Schartenstand = Jäger stand / Guernsey stand - Bauwerk nr 2
120 degree Schartenstand = 671 - Bauwerk nr 3

Hello all

I beleive that Tønnes ( TUS on this forum ) has done a registration in the area - and that he has a map of the locations!

Correct TUS :)

If I have to believe this plan nr 2 and 4 are switched, because the shape and position (flanking) of 4 indicates a Jägerstand.

According to a picture in this file the 611 had a flanking wall.

Hello,

the "Versuchsbatterie" at Blavand has also a "Ringbettung für Geschütz im Drehturm"
was this also a "Gogarten Stand"?
