OT - Organisation Todt

#1

Post by kstdk » 01 Oct 2013, 09:27

Hi all

I do not know if this has been discussed before (in detail).

I would like to make a tread about the OT (Organisation Todt) organisation, daily Work in the different areas, the Building sites etc. etc.

Regarding the Building sites it would be interesting to see Pictures of the Work of building the bunkers, the material sites, the living quarters for the workers with Buildings - barracks etc. etc.

What do you think?

Regards
Kurt

To what extend was the OT part of building the Atlantikwall defences? Did local contractors do much more, or were they supervised by the OT?
And was the Reichsarbeitsdienst part of OT, or were they supervised by OT.
As you see I know (too) little of this organisation. 8-)

Hello Arthur

Thats also one of the Things I would like to discuss in this tread. If we can find documents and sources to shed a light on this organisation. I - for one - also know too little of it.
