Type 4 LS 50 mann
Alain Chazette has found on the superforum another new type
The LS Type 4 50 mann there are several constructed in le Havre
so here we have a unique modell in Le Havre
The M 168 is also a LS for 50 mann see the second line in the document above (M 168 50 M 1300 CBM) i ll think its the same
so it could be that a Type 4 is also a M 168
Your opinions please
Dirk

Re: Type 4 LS 50 mann
We had one survivor of these specimen
It was destroyed a few years ago but we have visited this one
It was on Quai de la Seine
a google picture an exterior picture of myself and this one is a genuine M 168
we see it is on dry docks
when we search in 1945 we find this we see the same drydock
and the german nr is 450 so they used for this one the name 50 Mann Bunker
why they use sometimes the designation M 168 or 50 Mann bunker i don t know but this is all i ve found sofar

Re: Type 4 LS 50 mann
Hi,
LS is certainly the abbreviation für Luftschutz. There is also an early Luftwaffen-Regelbau "LS-Unterstand für 50 Mann" , which you can find on several Fliegerhorste, for example Uetersen or Kiel-Holtenau and Grove http://www.gyges.dk/fliegerhorst_grove.htm
Regards
Oliver

Re: Type 4 LS 50 mann
not Right Patrick
the Typ 4 is for 50 Mann Stand (125,126,127,200)
the M168 is note 50 Mann Bunker (exemple 200) no the same name
only the plan of 125,126,127,200 explaine the Type 4
regards
good night
