2cm Flak 30-38

Hi all,

I found these three images form EBay
At first I thought in a 2cm Flak 30 but closer examination of the photo has made me wonder.
The gun carriage is of the 2cm Flak 30 but the barrel looks like the 2cm Flak 38. :? 8O

Were these combinations possible? :?

Hi Sturm78,

Interesting pictures indeed! It would it indicate that the barrels of the Flak 30 and Flak 38 were interchangeable.

On the following picture it also looks like another example of a Flak 38 barrel on a Flak 30 mounting.

The actual barrels of 2 cm Flak 30 and 38 were NOT interchangeable, due to completely different method of mounting them.
The pictures above simply show 2 cm Flak 38 guns mounted in 2 cm Flak 30 carriages.
