Warmwasserkessel

#1

Post by leif-tore » 22 Mar 2014, 20:58

Hello

Can anyone help me with information about the Buderus Logana V "warmwasserkessel" shown on the pictures?
We will put this in the R608 that we are restoring, at Lista, Norway.
I am wondering how this was connected?
Cold water in at the bottom, and warm water at the top as far as I have understood.
But what about the connection to the chimney? There are one connection at the bottom and one at the top (which unfortunately is broken on this one, and has to be repaired).
I would think that the top one is connected to the chimney, but what is the bottom one for then?
There is also a small connection in the bottom, at the front side. What is this for? Adding cold water to the system?

Any help would be appreciated!

I am surely no expert but isn't there one fresh air going in the bottum and exhaust air going out on the top ?
Thanks,

Wim

Thank you for these datasheets, Dirk Peeters

It is a Buderus, with Bestellnummer 10006, because it is marked with 14400 kcal/h.
The weight should be 177 kg, and that could absolutely be right, as it was very heavy :)

Does anyone know what size that normally would be used in a R608?
Would this one have enough capasity?

We are not quite sure, but it might be the original "kessel" from this bunker.

Thanks for the additional info Jos and Dirk Peeters!

We have got the "Warmwasser lufterhitzer" installed, and the original radiator heaters are also still in place in all rooms.

Jos; Do you have the rest of the drawing (the one with the Schnitt C-C), together with the legend?

Anyone who has a drawing or picture of the hat of the chimney?

Hello Leif-Tore

The drawing is from a naval bunker the pipes inside the walls and in the bunker are
very different then the 608 . Here the Legenda that belongs to the drawing.
