Post by dirk Peeters » 08 Apr 2014, 21:50

The type 134 which is built everywhere is always the same in layout (in Munition version) i don t speak of the kitchen variety
here is the german plan (zeichnung nr 212 and this is the lowest ST nr we have found
625 prototype.jpg

In danmark however we find a variiation on this plan
this is Blavandshuk
DK 73 Blavandshuk (1).jpg
DK 73 Blavandshuk (2).jpg
we see already some detail changes
here and an example of the Kryle Bttr
DK 59 Kryle.jpg
In Lokken we find a 134 danish style with a tobruk (entrance tobruk in the entrance corridor
what does a 134 in norway look like ? anybody has a norwegian plan ?

Maybe a small room for Zünders?

Also don't forget about the 134 with cellar, also found on different places.

Ok, I missed that topic.

I agree on it being a marine type.

Back on topic!

Arthur you beat me but we have two different 134 in danmark
the "normal danish ones and the "light" versions i ll explain a normal 134 has a HES 134 inside everywhere
in danmark some 134 has been constructed as cheap 134 without this ventilation system ... and no uberdruck ventils and so one
hope to find info on the dates that they are constructed
but every 134 in danmark (so far) has the thirs small room ; in any visited batterie we find this item ....

another remark most 134 in danmark have "recesses" for the opening of the doors , here in lokken that is also missing .... so or fast construction or a cheap construction by danish standards
look also at the doors ... two different models ....

Different doors you see that more often. The 882P7 is a late model, and so it can be found a lot in Denmark because the Germans were able to built until the end of 1945. I think they chose the 882P7 for rooms which needed an extra factor of escape, because this doors has extra escape hatches. The one at Løkken is really a special one. According to the book Løkken og Krigen the 134 was casted at 15.10.44 (RH 11 III/216-217: Festungs-Pionier-Stab 31. Baufortschrittsmeldung, Stand 15.1.1945) because the M 272s were built and there was need for more ammo storage space.

ok wonderfull info
late model 134 is maybe without the ventilation system
i ve found other 134 without ventilation system ... hope we can find also their construction time
and the late door with the escape hatches is in the room where normal the ventilation hangs ...
could that be an indication ?

Yes normally there's the ventilation, so you would think the crew would be there. But I think that's only when they had to choose which door to use.
