Hey Manu,

The HKAA 676 was in position in Belgium, KVA2 in Duinbergen (Knokke), and stayed there the whole war. It had under its command the Eisenbahn batteries of this sector. On the first gliederung of early 1941, it is still mentioned as HKAA 676, but later in the same year, it changed in E676, denomination that it will keep for the rest of the war.

Hello

HKAA 676 never exist - its an mistake of org.abt. (and i wrote it from the document)

created in August 1939 as Stab schwere Artillerie-Abteilung (mot.) z.b.V. 676
renamed Aug 1st 1942 into Stab Eisenbahn-Artillerie-Abteilung 676

the 1st scan from Pierrot shows Stab s.Art.Abt. 676 (no "K" and no "E") - all HKA-Stäbe added with "K" and all s.Art.Abt.Stäbe had correct no "E" (676, 679, 681, 702, 725)

i found in my in my documentation:
25.5.1942 - gemäß Befehl des Gen.d.Artillerie im OKH - Abgabe des Fla-Zuges 1006 an Stab schwere Artillerie-Abteilung (mot.) z.b.V. 681

Uwe,

This makes more sense than Fla-Zug 1006 associated twith Abt. z.b.V. 676 since HKB 4./706, which I referenced in the first post of this thread, was under sAA z.b.V (then E.) 681, located in the Cherbourg peninsula. :D
