Hi Alex,
Maybe you can post a drawing of the observationsbunker with one meter walls? To see if someone recognizes the design.
It's very strange that there are no pictures of the 515neu in the very nice propaganda serie of the bunkers..

By the way interesting map Jos, i seem to have missed this particular one in the N.A. Verteidigungsstab is noted as "abteilungsgefechtsstand".

But also alot errors like the rest of the serie;
I have never found the 642 pakscharte

The map is far from 100% correct , there is also a bunker called 116 SK , but most bunkers are correct .

Hello Jos,

thanks for your answere and the part of the nice map... sadly with some Errors (621 is also wrong)
I am searching exact on this part west of the 625 (8714) but on the aerialpicture he is not clearly visible.
There is one builing in the size of an 515neu on the left side... but this is behind a house.
okay a flanking shot field would be possible, but restricted.
the position further back is too small and the 625 would be in the shotin field.
the other I would prefer the Location ... but it is to see only one edge.
funnily enough, the BRV not captured him and as Tim says he is not on the photos of the series!?

A other source is the "Winterprogramm" from 1943 with a 515 neu planned in Clingendaal ,
you know that dots with type numbers were also placed in the wrong place ???

I'm starting to doubt if the 515neu was ever built.
Possibly the observation bunker is a mg bunker. And the 515neu was planned to replace the not bombproof mg bunker?

Hi Tim

I don't think so, the 515 neu was a early type that was replaced by the 630 .
But I could be wrong , there are three separate German sources that indicate
that there was a 515 neu but where ??

This must be the Prins Mauritzlaan near Zorgvliet , now my question this looks a anti tank walls with two MG bunkers
but it looks there is no road ( all grass ) in the row of Hockers . Could be optical illusion ??

As you know apart from the MG bunkers there were also 2 standige gunbunkers (669) covering the entrance. In the rear you can see the famous catshuis.
