Ringstand für 12 cm Granatwerfer 42

Looks like enlarged version of the Bauform 69 , the drawing Wa.Prüf.Fest. IV nr 526 .
But this one is for the 12 cm Granatwerfer i.s.o. the 8 cm Granatwerfer . Please note
the corrections on the drawing . There were two other drawings in this report but no
number on them .

Regards Jos

we have Bf 201 and 202 (for the tobruk 58c and 58d for MG and Light mortar 36
we have the Bf 206 The Tobruk 61 for a 5 cm mortar
we have the Bf 207 (which is the well known Tobruk 69 for 8 cm mortar)
we have Bf 208 (which is the Bf 79 , i ll never found one of these)
now the new one the Bf 209 a Bf for 12 cm mortar
i suppose the old number must be in this 58 -69 neighborhood

we must not forget the nr 125 (as found in the NARA "oye Plage" documents)
here we see the german plan
BF 125 Oye Plage.jpg
BF 125 Oye Plage.jpg (25.62 KiB) Viewed 500 times
this Tobruk is as for the 5 cm mortar as for the 8,14 mortar
in these plans we see these "58c Tobruks" in the neighborhood
BF 125 et 58c Oye Plage.jpg
BF 125 et 58c Oye Plage.jpg (25.56 KiB) Viewed 500 times
as plans it gives this
Bf 58c couloir.jpg
look at the lenght of the "passage " (red cercle)
as we look at the Bf 209 we see also that same lenght
Bf 209 couloir.jpg
could there be a connection wit length of the passage and the use for an observatory for a mortar
we never found these long passages except in this sector and do not forget the "Oye Plage "plans (german origine are full of errors in the typology)
and to be frank we can t proove if the 125 nr is an Original german nomination
We just do it with the help of these "Oye Plage plans"
We can be certain the Tobruk typologie is not finished at all and we must do a lot of studying in these Tobruks

00 1.jpg

this Tobruk exist also with a storage room (found a few in the 7 th army in the landingbeaches areas
anyone has a guess for these long passages in a Tobruk without purpose (as we know now) ?
Dirk
