Westwall Bunker 18 near Palenberg
Westwall Bunker 18 near Palenberg
Would anyone know the type of bunker built to the south of Palenberg, usually identified as Bunker 18 or Bunker 5.18? The one photo I have of the bunker is too small for identification. The bunker was attacked by Co. A, 117th Infantry, 30th Division on 2 Oct 1944. The US maps identify it as Bunker 5. The map I am attaching here shows the location.
