Looks like something that was used in the Pantherturm ??

In Pantherturm - only in Ostwallturm (with thicker roof). Other versions (D and early A) used in fortifications didn't have this device. Late A and G - with Nahverteidigungswaffe - were not used in fortifications.
Or - maybe anyone has a proof (photo?) for use of late Panther turrets in fortifications?
