Isnt this in Zeeuws-Vlaanderen?
Between Cadzand en Zwartepolder.
There is a combi with these two in one complex according to the BRV Archive.

This is not Knokke but Stp von Rundstedt in "la Panne", KVA3, Belgium.
Bunkers have been demolished in 1951.

Pierrot
if you are still reading along,
are you still conclusive on your identification of the location of the photos at the beginning of ghis topc??

for the first photo I always had my doubts about being stp von rundstedt at De Panne as you identified the photo... Although you didn't pinpoint it, in my opinion you where talking about the 612 which we've handled just now in the topic http://forum.axishistory.com/viewtopic. ... 0&t=209726. Never the less with this new photo posted by Jos in this topic (link) I doubt even more.

Therefore I ask you could you pinpoint the photos at the beginning of this topic on a Stp von Rundstedt Aerial?

the second photo could have been taken in any other gunbunker (meaning; hard to say if it's Stp von Rundstedt), but also for the third photo I have my doubts on your identification... I don't seem to find a matching configuration an any arial photo I have?

Hi jean,

I think I have answered your question with my aerial picture on the other topic but I post also one of 1944 where the different bunkers can also be seen.

So photo1 at the beginning of this topic should then be the 677? It shure isn't the 612 as the photo by jos with villa Orban in the background proofs and which is lefton the above arial.
If you mean that the leitstand in photo 3 at the beginning of this topic is the leitstand of the hkb Duinhoek which we can see just underneath the 677 on your latest aerial you've posted... to me this is impossible, as the leitstand had a rounded nose, not angled. (or is it the leitstand of the OB's in the actual Stp von Rundstedt, as this is more the PONY-part of von Rundstedt?)

Hey Jean,

I don't find that this leitstand is really rounded! for me it's angular (see hereunder). The leitstand of the new position of HKB "De Panne" was a Leitstand HKB type 2, not type 1.

the scenery doens't fit... you should see buildings in the background, it wasn't built that high up a dune, was standing more in a sand plain rather than a grass covered dune and the entrance to the subterain as seen on the above photo isn't to be found on arials or to be seen on other photos of which we are 100% shure it was the Leitstand of Duinhoek

to me this looks a rounded nose (although very blurry photos, but 100% shure leitstand Duinhoek)... I could be wrong... but still to me it seems impossible that the above photo was the leitstand for duinhoek

on the subject of the gunbunkers around villa Orban...
we also have this third one (from my private collection) Which one could this be according to you? Or is this just the 677 shot under an other angle? Damage on toppart looks the same
