we measured at least 15 different VF 1a everywhere but in no one we could find the fixations for beds ....
many however have different niches , some even have telephone connections

Hi Dirk, that's interesting to hear..
Opposite the emergency entrance is perfect place for 6 beds. But we need evidence;-)

I have never noticed here in holland if there are traces..

in many many VF bunkers they used wooden beds , so it is not easy to spot the fixations ....
it s not that we didn t see it that there where no beds at all
the same goes for the >BF 51 and BF 52
we know that in the brest area these VF 1a are equiêd with amo and gun niches in the entrances so logically there could be beds but no proof at all

Hello all,
The small bunker behind the R611 in Hoek van Holland is that maybe a V.F. 1a because it looks almost the same as the picture above
only our bunker have stairs leading outside ?
L Bunker bij 611.jpg

as you can see it has an emergency exit and last but not least it is 1 m 50 thick so a VF2a Verstarkt
