I've just finished the four air-exhausts on top of the wasserwerk. One of the four was never completed, but the three shafts are visible in the roof also the iron bars where this "turm" had to be connected on.

The red "turm" is the only unfinished one. Inside the bunker you can find an large interior wall, which devides this space (machinery?) with the assembly hall. the three air-exhausts on the north are standing above the machinery-part of the complex, the other one stands directly behind the mid-entrance/exit of the assembly hall.

The concrete above the mid-entrance has been added to the 3D-plan.

But there are still plenty of curiositys to discover on this base.

The Tallboy impact in the middle of the base for example. Inside you see the roof is comming down over the whole span of the assembly tunnel, but on the outside you don't see anything. Its all poured up with concrete. Who filled up this crater of the tallboy with concrete? one can assume the Germans, but this doesnt make sense with the documents of Col. Sanders.

On one of the plans of Sanders, they wrote in the crater "Bomb Nose found here", so i assume this crater was still visible in 1945!
Who poured the new concrete in the crater on top of the bunker and for what purpose?!

Some views inside the assembly tunnel where the tallboy came through the 5m thick concrete roof!

Nearby one can find another curiousity, from mother nature, in the middle of a very dark tunnel nature provided some decoration!

I ll think here too must the roof be higher because of the sliding door where the begin is build but up till now i cant continue on this side
i ll need better pictures or maybe there are in the ordered complete sanders document but when will it arrive ...
ingang nord x 546.jpg

here is what puzzles me the most what is that wall doing there in front of the entrance (see the red markings)
the green is like on the sud entrance the room for the sliding door
any sugestions for the red wall ?
it must be high because it was almost level with the entrance opening .....

no one has better pictures even from the nineties of this part of the bunker ?
all is welcome otherwise we are blocked here

Hi Dirk,

It also crossed my mind for that northern entrance block in "bau". Maybe it's possible that the northern blok was the same as the southern blok, but this we cannot proof, we only can assume and speculate but that is a bit dangerous.

maybe ... but lack of ventilation seems to exclude
and one time he has entered it seeems he had to leave in reverse
Yesterday i discussed it with Yannick
we think (for the moment no train entered
Tomorrow i ll see Yannick in person
maybe we gonna make progress
