Found this document with the note that three gun emplacements came of the dunes ,
was that with the main armament 10.5 cm K.331 (f) . Seem the guns were kept dry .

Hello

Yes it is the 10,5 cm. - and I would think they are talking about the open emplacements (see picture).

These have been right in front of the casemattes where the guns were put in and secure at the time.

Also the Commandbunker were in front of the gunbunkers - so the problem with the sea / storms had done this before.

Now and then the open emplacements are visible after stormy weather - this picture is from 2012 - as far as I know they have not been seen since.

Hello

Jos - I have just checked the Bfm.

The 671 bunkers were finished in july 1944 - so the guns would still have to have been placed on the open emplacements - but were "rescued" to dry land.

Your document is that from MOK Nord KTB??
