L 479 Bernay

#1

Post by dirk Peeters » 18 Dec 2014, 13:30

The Belfra team has finally got the aproval for visiting this relatively unknown site
Thanks for the autorities for letting us measure this very special L 479 which has many features not seen at any other
there are more doors , a very small Seeburgtable and so on and so on , even one machineentrance was added for this one (he has two machine entrances so this is really hot stuff
We are working on the radarbases in France and as soon as this topic is finished we shall put the plans of 10 german constructions at this wonderfull site and of course on other radarbases as well ....
All the owners letting us in their gardens so we could finish 8 completely
Two (a Wellblech? and one "verblijf" are still not measured at the interior but only on the outside but it gives already an idea
we are trying to get aprovals for the last two of course (Bricked up)
Here is my first aerial picture plan with the constructions
1A4 Bing forum.jpg
soon the plans will arrive when we got the time
It was a very succesfull trip with the co operation of my old friend Jacky Laurent (he is one of the first men with Yannick Delefosse in France wo took the time to measure hundreds of bunker
With Yannick we are working on some sites too like Siracourt and so one
so we can be sure with their help we can achieve wonderfull things
but as soon as the plans are drawn we will post them
For the moment don t ask pictures
We can t make them public (The French authorities asked for that)
hope that we can with the help of the specialists here on this forum to find new answers on the radars
We ll be back soon (The Belfra Team)

hi

Indeed it's a nice bunker (even if it is burning inside) with strange changes

ther's also a water storage 200 m south of the L479 , and Mg stand along the road

For the BAUMLÄUFER station , it's at Bazoques 8km north of Bernay

the baracks are of extremely thickness here
here a surviving one but it is transformed into a garage and all the interiorwalls where teared down
we couldn t find no more traces so this is the best we could do
verblijf 10 plan 617.jpg
