Hello

@ Oasis:

Could you try to take some photos EXACTLY in locations shown in historical photos?

@ Tommygunn:

My vote for "polish" pantherturm is :
43.90032,12.836301
or
43.909982,12.862029

Point is to go there and to compare the landscape (if possible by taking photos). Oasis, can we count on you?

BTW: now it seems a best time for photos: no leaves on trees (at least in Poland). Hurry up!

Hi friends,
it will take some weeks before I go to Tavullia as I am a bit far... I go there sometimes in the year as I was born in the nearby Gabicce

Good Day
At least one or both (similar) photos have probably been posted here before
but I do not think together. Sorry about the quality of frames from a DVD.
Me thinks they are the same BT

Hi Bill 13

The road in front of the Panther Turm is the Strada Statale 65 del Passo della Futa ( Futa Pass state road N°65)
locality Saint Lucia.

Would definately agree that there is a 'Tommy' in the turret.

Yeah, that makes more sense especially with the headphones.
