Inspection trips von Rundstedt

#1

I'm not quite sure if this is the most appropriate section of this board for posting my query but I guess coastal defenses will have been high on the agenda of these trips. I'm interested in the inspection trips Generalfeldmarschall von Rundstedt made to Holland and especially to Zeeland.I wonder if anyone has an itinerary or report of these trips . According to the Atlantikwall book by Hans Sakkers/Hans Houterman von Rundstedt made three trips to Zeeland. The first was on 7 July 1942, the second on 28 jan 1943 and the third on 30 September 1943. The Dutch image archive Beeldbank WO2 has several pics of von Rundstedt's trips but most appear to have been taken in France. I wonder if this pic could have been taken in Zeeland (19.Luftwaffen Feld-Division perhaps?):

The barracks and trees show some resemblance with those in this pic (probably taken in Terneuzen during the third ? trip to Zeeland):

The same staff car (same license number) is in this ebay pic :

Probably the same car as well and this pic also shows an Opel Admiral (there is also one in the Terneuzen pic) :

Another one also the same staff car I think :

Where and when ?

I know, I noticed these pics fetched quite a bit of money 8O . The ebay seller seems to have a nice collection of Christiansen pics and has been offering them piecemeal over the past few years.

Groet,

Arjan

I don't think so Jos, perhaps it's the villa in Amstelveen. Here is a pic of Groot Haesebroek :
