Re: French Batteries around Bray Dunes
hahaha these ships are playing tricks us
You are right
so all the guns are the same and at the zuydcote semaphore
look here for our ghost ship ....
to the right of the Adroit
to the left of the Adroit without our ghostship passing the Adroit and a last one and now with you re picture at Zuydcote
it looks like that wreck (if it is a wreck) was still sailing around
it is not the only one
The Hordst did the same
i m gonna be extremely carefull with these boats

Hi Dirk
I am not a specialist on shipwrecks , but it looks to me the L'Adroit was sunk at Malo les Bains , on some
picture's you can see the town of Dunkirk . So the ship behind the destroyer must be a other ship .

Hi jopaerya, if possible can you tell me where the maps you show in the message above are originally from? Particularly the second map.jopaerya wrote:Hello Dirk
For me the 3 x 16.4 cm gun as we can see on the picture's in this Topic are all from Batt de Bray Dunes
please note that this battery used special steel pivot system , so you wil not find any concrete emplacements .
The B. d Bray Dune was located right from the sanatorium , as you can see on the documents.
Regards Jos
Thanks, HR
