Could this be a from inside exploded M.G. bunker ?? Photo is U.S. Signal Corps

Thanks for this interresting picture

I think is was an 7P7, or 10p7 schartenplatte, and you can see on "1", the big screw fixing the scharte, and in "2", a part of the for sliding for weapon.

Yes it looks like a 10cm 7P7. What's the source Jos? Westwall or Atlantikwall?

Right of the red postion one, a I profil to fix the plate. Complete bend by the explosion. Picture is from Autumn 1944.
I have the picture from internet in a bit higer resolution, let me know if this helps.

Must be Westwall, Most of the AW bunkers had an 78P9 or the combination of plates.

Soviets did similar tests. Caption of these pictures says: Bunker destroyed by SU 152 (or/& artillery) fire. Fortifield area of Mława. It seems it is bunker with casamate 5P7, but location is wrong. Mława is a Polish pre war fortification on north Masovia, so it should be East Prussia area.
