Post by him.rudkjoebing » 27 May 2004, 12:59

Hi out there.

I am currently trying to make a model of this piece of equipment (used by Fallschirmjägers on the East Front).

Can anyone please help me with information of which year it was introduced to the fighting formations etc ? (The name seems to indicate 1941 but I am not sure.)

Also links, pictures etc. will be greatly appreciated.

Kind regards

Henrik

From Lexikon der Wehrmacht (http://www.lexikon-der-wehrmacht.de):

Naturally you'll need to make some ammo for it :)

It's the first one on the left - I can supply dimensions and a better photo if you're interested.

Sturm, Notice that whatever type of British truck that is has been converted to a Pakwagen with the German ammo boxes along the side as in the Krupp Boxer.

Hello,

another picture from e-bay, showing the gun 'auf leichter Feldlafette 41' (leFL 41), used by Fallschirmjäger.
There's a good deal of info on : http://fritzwaffen.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html.

I like the photo of the crew back packing the gun up the mountain.
