Erik

Sorry about the lateness of this request, but I only just discovered this forum.
Afterwards, a Luftschützbunker nearby.
Any pictures of this bunker?

Next time in Bergen you should have a look at the bunker up at the former nazi HQ in Bergen, now the state archives.

When inside BRUNO, did you get any clues as to what happened to the M19?

Tarjei

The luftscützbunker has been covered very well by Stril here:
http://forum.axishistory.com/viewtopic.php?t=54847

I have only been on the outside of the archive, as we were there in a weekend!
Hope to get inside some other day for sure!

As for Bruno, the M19 was probably never installed, as that part of the roof was never finished.
The copular housing it was lifted in position, but thats it I`m afraid....

I thought it was the one that is called the "trappehuset". Its a little further in on the same side as Bruno. It looks like this (old picture):

I've been hoping to get a look inside...
Btw is that light flak artillery on the roof?

Hello
You can get into the museum when its open. Opening hours can be found in the local newspaper(BT)
By the way, the picture you posted is only a fraction of another picture, enlarged by me.

I just linked to the picture in your post, hope you don't mind. What condition is the inside of the bunker in?
Were there positions for flak artillery on the roof of the marineholmen bunker?

Hello
I dont mind the use of the photo, just wanted to make it clear that its just a part of a bigger one.
The bunker on Marineholmen had 3 positions for flak. For me it seems like it was not more than 2 cm.
I have posted a picture of one of them, and a overview picture in the link below

Its a picture from 1947, framed, and hung in a old cottage for decoration.
